Pupil Premium Strategy Statement

At Ormiston Bridge Academy, Pupil Premium funding is used to raise the attainment and wellbeing of disadvantaged pupils, ensuring every child can reach their full potential. Our strategy focuses on improving attendance, literacy, behaviour, and academic outcomes while providing rich enrichment and vocational opportunities that broaden aspirations and build confidence.

Many of our pupils arrive with disrupted education and limited access to cultural and social experiences, so we invest in targeted academic support, mentoring, enrichment activities, and essential resources to remove barriers to learning. By strengthening reading skills, supporting wellbeing, and enhancing access to post-16 pathways, we aim to improve engagement, increase qualifications achieved, and ensure pupils leave us ready for further education, training, or employment.
