Ofsted Report – June 2025

Ormiston Bridge Academy has received a ‘Good‘ rating across all key areas in its recent Ofsted inspection. The quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management have all been recognised for their strengths, reflecting the school’s commitment to providing a positive and effective learning environment. The leadership team is actively fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring that students’ academic and personal growth are supported effectively. Early years provision was not fully assessed during this inspection, with insufficient evidence available to determine its current status. We are dedicated to continuous improvement and will use this feedback to further enhance our provision for all learners.

Inspectors were especially impressed by the strong sense of community within our school, highlighting that:

Pupils feel safe and comfortable because of the school’s positive culture. Staff are
empathetic and patient. They encourage pupils to make a fresh start as they join the
provision. Due to highly effective relationships, pupils trust staff and leaders to help them.

We take great pride in this recognition, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and the entire school community.

Parent Feedback – Ofsted Parent View

As schools now receive only 24 hours’ notice before an Ofsted inspection, there is very little time to gather parental feedback during the inspection itself. Instead, Ofsted gathers ongoing feedback from parents and carers through their Parent View platform.
