Students celebrate their success

Students at Ormiston Bridge Academy, celebrated strong GCSE results. The academy, part of Ormiston Academies Trust, is pleased to announce another year of strong results for its students, following their hard work and excellent commitment to their education.

Everyone came together to celebrate the success of all the students and share in the pride of what they have achieved.

 Some of the individual standout achievements include:

  • AM successfully achieved 8 GCSEs in English Language, English Literature, Maths, Double Award Science, Art and Design, PE and Citizenship.
  • CR achieved a 6 in both English Language and English Literature and is excited to be undertaking an apprenticeship in plumbing.
  • FM overcame extreme personal challenges and achieved 5 GCSEs including 4s in Maths and English, she will go onto study Health and Social Care at College in September.
  • KS started Art when she was transferred to The Bridge and went onto achieve a grade 4, she is going onto complete an Art and Design course in September.

Ormiston Bridge Academy uses a specialist approach for its students, offering opportunities to develop a range of capabilities. By being part of Ormiston, the academy strives to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background, by providing the best learning environments both inside and outside the classroom.
