Last week, Ormiston Bridge Academy proudly took part in the Do You See Me? campaign, which raises awareness about respecting, helping, and supporting people with learning disabilities.
Our Primary phase used this campaign as a valuable opportunity to link learning across the curriculum. In Literacy, children explored persuasive language, learning how to describe settings, plan storyboards, and create persuasive messages for a video. Through RSHE, we celebrated what makes each of us special and unique. The children also learned about different learning disabilities and discussed how we can all work together to support and include others.
The project culminated in the creation of a fantastic video, where the children showcased their understanding, creativity, and inclusive values. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and the important message they shared.
